Just a little catch-up (Sept)

Here are a few pics to show you what we have been up too!

Went to Nauvoo for Labor Day weekend.

While we were there they had their annual Grape Festival and Car show.  There were so many amazing cars that had been restored and souped up!  I loved it!

Of course Colby loved the truck section over the old classics.

We headed out to our favorite buffet in Nauvoo

Then look what was parked outside!

I love it!!!

After a week at home Eden and I hopped on a plane and flew to Salt Lake.

My mother-in-law took me to the most fabulous store that I blogged about in the post just before this one.  It is so fabulous!! It is called The Wood Connection and it is near Sandy right off the I-15.  They have all kinds of crafty things made out of wood for every holiday and month.

I can't even tell you all the amazing things they have there.  You just have to experience it for yourself!  What makes them even more fabulous is I just won a Gift Certificate there!!! I had no idea till my friend Emily texted me and told me it was announced on facebook!  I went nuts and I am so excited!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Eden playing while mom shopped!

Eden and I had a few days to play before Colby joined us so we had to go and visit Grandma and Grandpa.  If you knew my grandparents you know that they were obsessed with DANCING!  They probably danced their way into heaven, ha ha.  But everywhere we went they danced, even if it was McDonalds.  They also would go dancing a couple times a week.  That was there love language.  So each time we visit their graves we do some little song and dance. This time Eden danced for them and it was so perfect!

We also visited Nani and Papa's grave.  They always loved to her us sing so Eden and I sang "Popcorn Popping"

Colby showed up and we spent some good time with his cousins.

Eden and her adorable 2nd cousin Kaylee.
We also spent a day in Provo and Colby was able to see one of his good buddies Troy and his super cute wife Amy and their sweet little active daughter, Jovie.
We met up at the fabulous Brick Oven for dinner.  I sure wish we were closer to them.

The main reason for our trip was for the wedding of our friend Todd and his beautiful wife Brittney.  Colby and Todd are old mission buddies and he was also one of Colby's groomsmen.
They were married in the stunning Draper temple.

We got to see some old mission buddies too!

Can I just tell you that her dress was absolutely exquisite!  I loved all the ruffles, the silhouette and all the detailing on the bodice!

This is the gift we made for them. Thank you Pinterest and thank you Kim!
The quote on top is from their song by Lady Antebellum, "When you got a good thing"

The beautiful couple!

We have spent the past several weeks out out town and here and there.  We had soooo much fun but it is always good to be back home!
